RoHS Compliant
Venture provides PCB fabrication and PCB assembly services conforming to RoHS regulations that require rigorous concentration of 6 hazardous substances:
- Lead (Pb),
- Mercury (Hg),
- Cadmium (Cd),
- Hexavalent Chromium (Cr VI),
- Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB)
- Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE)
Among these 6 types of hazardous substances, lead (Pb) is the most widely applied in electronics field, since it plays a fundamental role in electronic plating.
RoHS-compliant printed circuit boards are important because the end products that use these PCBs are likely to end up in a landfill or other trash reclamation process one day. RoHS PCBs without hazardous chemicals will help in preventing pollution to these landfills. Also, it protects people who handle the circuit boards by hand.
For RoHS-compliant circuit boards, this will include the RoHS Certification of Conformance with each shipment (you will find this information in our shipping report), and the packaging on all appropriate items will also provide a RoHS/Pb-Free designations.
Venture provides RoHS and lead-free printed circuit boards with a variety of finishes that maintain compliance. Our surface finishes options allow you to maintain compliance and stay safe. Some of the finishes available to you include:

As a lead-free printed circuit board manufacturer and PCB assembler, we select lead-free PCB materials that can withstand high temperature as replacement to traditional solder material. Components involved in lead-free PCB assembly must meet the requirements for lead-free compliance accounting for reliability and suitability of end products.
